Raphael’s helped jump start my career from the beginning. Working with real life clients throughout the school day helped me build the confidence I needed to build my clientele! I dealt with real life scenarios before I had even started at a salon. I still use that foundation of knowledge behind the chair today. I have been working behind the chair for 7 years. I’ve had 3 children in the last 4 years and have successfully managed to help support my family due to the unique flexibility that being a hairstylist offers. I have moved from working in a salon, to owning my own suite, to booth renting, and working towards my goal of owning my own salon one day! I give a lot of credit to Raphael’s Beauty School for my successful career. They truly do “change lives”!

Raphael’s taught me so much about my career & the skincare industry. I was able to graduate a 7 month program in 3 1/2 months thanks to the school allowing me to come in early & stay later! I was able to learn so much about not only skincare treatments, but the buisness and behind the scenes of esthetics. It was great to be able to schedule my own clients. That has helped me with building clientele and most of those clients still come to me today! I was also able to learn how to take care of client’s personal needs with formulating treatments based on their skin goals! Raphael’s helped get me ready for my state boards and become licensed 1 month after graduation! I am forever thankful to be an alumni of Raphael’s and I felt confident & knowledgeable leaving there!

Raphael's jumpstarted my career and my life. Before Raphael's I had no idea what I was doing all I knew is I loved to do makeup. I went to school thinking I was gonna specialize in makeup, however that was not the case. Even though I still love makeup, I have been able to fall in love with other services that fall under my scope and mostly practice those ones. My experience at Raphael's was overall pretty good. I loved all my fellow students and tecahers. I learned so much from every single person there and enjoy seeing everyone achieve their dreams. Life was crazy during my time at Raphael's mostly because I was attending right at the start of the shut down. At one point even thought about giving up, but I was super stoked about starting my own business and knew that I had to make it happen. I wrote up my plan while I was still in school and finally have put it into action almost 4 years later. Raphael's made it possible for me to achieve my dreams. The road was tough, but the destination was truly worth it. Now I am a business owner and most importantly a mother who gets to share her dream with her daughter. Thank you Raphael's for jumpstarting my life!

Raphael School of Beauty and Culture jumpstarted my career by teaching me all the basics and even more. I was blessed to have an amazing manager, Ms. Bry, at my location of Raphael's; she was my rock throughout the whole experience, and the other instructors were also great. Don’t give me wrong not everyone’s perfect and you might not like every instructor but it’s about your mindset and how you choose to make the most out of YOUR experience! Cosmetology school definitely helped shape the future I’m currently living.
This school taught me so much about myself, giving me much more patience and helping me step outside my comfort zone. It was definitely a pivotal point in shaping the stylist I am today. Don't get me wrong; I'm still learning every day. I still feel like a baby in the industry where I am, but I couldn't thank Raphael's enough for shaping me into the stylist I am today.
