Committing to a cosmetology program can be so daunting. Hearing from others who have taken the leap can certainly make it easier to jump! Here we profile just a few of our wonderful alumni who are movers and shakers in their hair styling careers after graduating from Raphael’s School of Beauty. We love our amazing alumni—and we believe that if they can do it, you can do it too.

Raphael’s helped jump-start my career from the beginning. Working with real-life clients throughout the school day helped me build the confidence I needed to build my clientele!
I dealt with real-life scenarios before I had even started at a salon. I still use that foundation of knowledge behind the chair today. I have been working behind the chair for 7 years. I’ve had 3 children in the last 4 years and have successfully managed to help support my family due to the unique flexibility that being a hairstylist offers.
I have moved from working in a salon, to owning my own suite, to booth renting, and working towards my goal of owning my own salon one day!
I give a lot of credit to Raphael’s Beauty School for my successful career. They truly do change lives!

I appreciate everything I learned from Raphael’s. I talk to other stylists and their experience at school, and my experience goes above and beyond theirs. I was challenged, exposed to advanced techniques, and had an ample amount of time with many clients.
Not only was I taught the technical side, but also the personal and business side of our industry. The exposure and assistance I had helped me grow into the confidence stylist I am today.

Raphael’s really helped me build confidence in engaging with clients one-on-one, which made meeting new people in my career far less intimidating.
The instructors were always kind and encouraging, pushing us to step outside our comfort zones and take on services that helped us grow. Their support prepared me to excel as a stylist and feel confident going out on my own.
