Affording beauty school doesn’t have to be daunting. Successful investment in your future can help you realize your career goals and financial security — and career training can be one of the most valuable investments you can make.

Many of our students at Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture require financial assistance to attend. So we are well-versed in guiding people who are interested in attending one of our programs but need help to get there! The financial aid process can seem a bit intimidating at first, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. School owner Ralph Delserone or his expert staff will walk you through the steps to apply.

Types of Financial Aid

Federal Pell Grants

The Federal Pell Grant is a need-based, non-repayable grant determined through FAFSA, helping cover tuition and education expenses.

Direct Student Loans

Direct Student Loans help cover tuition and costs, requiring repayment after graduation with flexible options. Eligibility starts with the FAFSA.

Scholarships

There are many scholarships available, some offered by Raphael’s and some by industry or other supporters.

Eligible Programs

Federal financial aid is available to those who qualify for the following programs. Students in the Advanced Manicurist Program and the Cosmetologist Advanced (Salon Management) Program are ineligible for federal financial aid due to the shortened length of those programs.

Direct Student Loans

Direct Student Loans offer students the opportunity to finance their education while building their future. These loans are available through the federal government and must be repaid after graduation.

They can help cover tuition, supplies, and living expenses while you focus on your training. Our admissions team can walk you through the application process, making sure you understand your options and responsibilities when borrowing.

Federal Pell Grants

Federal Pell Grants provide need-based financial assistance to students pursuing their education. Unlike loans, Pell Grants don’t require repayment, making them a valuable resource for those who qualify. Eligibility is determined through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and funds can be used to cover tuition, supplies, and other education-related expenses. Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture is proud to help students navigate the application process and access the support they need.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is an application that determines your eligibility for federal financial aid. If you aren't familiar with the FAFSA, or it's been a while since you last encountered it, never fear - our financial aid representatives work with incoming students to fill this out together.

However, if you prefer to fill out a FAFSA on your own, you will need the school codes for Raphael's School of Beauty Culture.
