Scholarships for Our Beauty and Wellness Programs
There are many scholarships available, some offered by Raphael’s and some by industry or other supporters, check out the available scholarships below.
Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture offers scholarships annually to help students achieve their career goals. Our full scholarship opportunity opens on January 15th each year, and applications must be submitted by June 1st. In addition to the full scholarship, partial tuition scholarships are also available to qualified applicants, ensuring that students receive the financial support they need to succeed in their chosen programs. Students are eligible to apply for BOTH options, but scholarships may not be combined. If you win the full scholarship, you cannot receive a mini scholarship as well.

One interested applicant will receive a fully-paid scholarship for the program of his/her choice. The winner must follow a full-time schedule and start between specified dates.
Partial tuition scholarships are available to every graduating senior who enrolls and begins classes in any Raphael’s program between specified dates. Just finishing high school? This could be a great option!

Additional Scholarship Opportunities For Cosmetology Students
In addition to our school scholarships, there are many industry-sponsored scholarships that prospective students may qualify for. To apply for any scholarship, we recommend that you first apply for the program of your choosing and then fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) to better understand your out-of-pocket costs. Each scholarship will have its own unique requirements, but most will have you write a short essay explaining why you want to pursue a career in beauty.
– $2,500 Scholarship
The Beauty Schools Directory team is proud to offer a $2,500 scholarship for students and professionals changing others’ lives through wellness and beauty. If you’re ready to begin a fulfilling and rewarding career in the beauty and wellness industry, or if you are continuing your education to pursue your next career goal, submit the application form below for the chance to win a $2,500 scholarship toward your tuition and education expenses.
Apply for this scholarship by March 1 or September 1 of each year.
– $1,000 Cosmetology Scholarship
This scholarship offered by Keller International is available to students pursuing programs in barbering or cosmetology. The winner will be rewarded $1,000 toward their tuition fees.
Joe Francis was a highly influential figure in the barbering industry who became the youngest licensed barber in the state of Minnesota at the age of 17. Throughout his life, Joe touched the lives of many young professionals, and the Joe Francis Haircare Scholarship Foundation carries on his legacy.
Scholarship amounts vary depending on the recipient, but are never lower than $1,500. Students currently applying to or actively enrolled in a barbering or cosmetology program may apply for this scholarship from January through June 1st of each year.
Rosy Salon Software sponsors the ROSY REWARDS annual scholarship, which awards $250 to two students each year. Students studying cosmetology, barbering, or esthetics may apply.
The Great Scholarship Program is one of the largest providers of beauty scholarships in the United States. Funded by Great Clips, this program awards more than 20 students pursuing cosmetology or barbering with scholarships of up to $5,000 annually. This program is dedicated to the memory of Alice Madden Barton to help young people follow in her footsteps of launching their dreams through careers in cosmetology. There are two application periods each year. Spring applications may be submitted from September 2 – March 1. Fall applications may be submitted from March 2 – September 1.

Other Financial Aid Options
Scholarships aren’t the only type of aid available to beauty school students! As an accredited school, Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture is eligible to offer federal student aid in the form of grants and federal loans, which offer additional benefits to potential students looking to enroll in beauty school.
As an accredited institution, Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture is able to offer multiple forms of financial aid to students.
The types of financial aid we offer include federal Pell Grants and Direct Student Loans. Additionally, our school offers several different scholarship opportunities, the Graduating Seniors Partial Scholarship and the Full Summer Scholarship.Students who have won related scholarships from outside organizations can apply their funds to our programs as well. The amount of financial aid awarded to each student is dependent on the student’s eligibility and the course the student is enrolled in.
Full Tuition Scholarships
The Summer Scholarship is available to anyone ready to change their life by pursuing a career in beauty. One lucky applicant will receive a full scholarship to Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture. The winner will be decided upon after June 16th, 2025, and must enroll and begin classes between June 30th and August 26th, 2025. See below for information on how to apply.
Scholarship Entry Guidelines
The following will need to be completed and submitted in order to be considered for the full-tuition Summer Scholarship:
Complete the scholarship application
Send two (2) letters of recommendation
Recommendation from non-family members. (Example: Guidance Counselors, Teachers, Employers). These may be attached to your email entry or mailed with your application.
Write a personal essay
100 words or less, describing your biggest achievement or proudest accomplishment and the challenges you encountered along the way. (Examples: an award, high school accomplishments, sports, etc.) This essay may be attached to your email entry or mailed with your application.
A copy of your High School Diploma
High School Transcripts, or GED will be needed prior to enrollment.
All information must be received by June 1st, 2025. You may submit your entry online or mail your entry. Must complete the FAFSA application. Any federal grants will be applied first, and the scholarship will cover unmet needs.
Scholarship Details
The winner must follow a full-time schedule and begin classes between June 30th and August 26th, 2025. The scholarship will be null and void if the program is not completed, requiring the student to cover all tuition costs. The winner will be notified via email after June 16th, 202

Partial Scholarships
Each year, Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture, Inc. offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors to help fund their beauty education. Partial tuition scholarships are available to every 2025 graduating high school senior* who enrolls and begins classes in any program between May 20st and August 26th, 2025.
