The curriculum at Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture, was created to help you achieve your goal of becoming a beauty professional. We’re dedicated to helping you gain the skills it takes to succeed and ready to start a career in the beauty industry. As a Raphael’s student, our open-to-the-public on-site student salon is built to allow students to have the opportunity to work with real clients*. Under the guidance of licensed instructors, you can serve real clients and provide high-quality beauty services. You can feel confident and prepared to enter the professional world after gaining real-world experience working with clients before you graduate.

Accredited Institution

Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture is fully accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS), the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology, and the US Department of Education. We are also an active member of the American Association of Cosmetology Schools. That means our programs are consistently held to the highest standard by an objective third party. Being accredited also means we can provide Federal Financial Aid to those who qualify to help cover the cost of your educational investment.

Business Training

We strive to help you feel confident and prepared to pursue your career to the fullest after gaining practical, real-world business training. You can learn everything you need to know about using social media as a beauty professional.

In addition to the technical styling and beauty skills, you can get the specific salon/spa business education it takes to turn your passion and talent into a sustainable career. Many beauty professionals even go on to open their own salons or spas.

From Our Grads

Since passing my State Board Exams, I am now the owner of Kaitlin’s Designer Nail Spa in Garrettsville, Ohio. In addition to basic nail services, I also offer hundreds of original hand-painted designs. I have been published multiple times in NAILS Magazine including being in the top 22 for their Annual Cover Contest with entries from Professionals around the world for both 2014 & 2015. Some of my nails were showcased in Scott Publications “Just Steampunk!” 2011. You can also find me on Etsy, where I have sold finished hand painted artificial nails that have traveled all over the world!
